Dreaming

Dreams are free,
and expensive.
I stopped growing tall at some point,
Now I try not to grow wide.
Someday I’ll grow short.
I wonder if it was always like this or
If i just stopped seeing shapes in the clouds.
Dreams are for people from West London,
After bills and rent,
I squander what I have left,
After the 20th, towards the ends,
I don't meat, it’s beans and pulses and peas.
I can’t afford dreams.
Thank god they’re free at least.
